Cleared To Join – EDDS Edition
An evening “im Ländle” for everyone who works in and around flight operations.

Normally, we meet on frequency, in cockpits or somewhere between approach and departure – in other words: at work.
This time, we meet on the ground – to unwind after hours.
We, the air traffic controllers of Stuttgart Approach and Tower, would like to warmly invite you to the TWR-APP Aviation Get-Together.
An evening to connect, get to know each other and meet the people behind the microphones.
Bringing together on this occasion are colleagues from air traffic control, airline cockpit and cabin crews, members of the police aviation unit and base operations, as well as flying personnel holding a CPL and/or working as flight instructors.
No frequency, no slots, no time pressure.
Instead: good conversations, a pleasant atmosphere and an open, relaxed get-together.

Organisation & contribution
We organized and pre-financed the this little party as the air traffic control team with a lot of enthusiasm, because we’re genuinely looking forward to spending a great evening together.
Voluntary contributions to help support the event are very welcome – entirely optional. For anyone who would like to contribute, €10–20 per person would be a helpful general guideline.
Most of all, though, we’re simply looking forward to seeing you all, sharing good conversations, and enjoying a great evening together.
Participation & availability
As the event will take place in a security-restricted area, the number of available spots is unfortunately limited.
For this reason, participation is initially reserved for the group described above.
Also important:
– Minimum age: 18 years.
– For verification, please bring a valid airport or crew ID, or alternatively a pilot’s license.
We are aware that this may exclude others who are interested – which is unfortunate, but cannot be avoided under the given circumstances.
For those who would still like to attend, there is the option to sign up for our newsletter.
If additional spots become available, we will provide updates and offer the opportunity to register at a later stage.
Until then, we kindly ask you to refrain from registering if you are not part of the group mentioned above.
